By allowing CNS to practice per their education and training, the state would benefit from enhanced competition and greater healthcare access. This will also impact nursing practices as it will ensure access to healthcare, provide timely and responsive care, safe and effective services for patients, and enhance the nursing practice. I would become politically involved in political advocacy for my future practice by taking on leadership roles. This will allow me to advocate for nurses’ wellbeing, ensure a healthy working environment, better opportunities, quality healthcare, and better patient outcomes.
