Some of the components of our hospital healthcare information systems (HIS).   One component of the hospital is the information system for the patient.  This component is applied in the day-to-day activities of patient management. It is mostly used for collecting, storing, and sharing the patient demographic, historical, and clinical information.  It comprises other subsystems, including laboratory, clinical imaging, blood bank, and other healthcare information systems.   The second component of the hospital HIS is a managerial information system that is used by the hospital management team.
