Learning about the agencies that influence the provision of nursing care has helped me learn about the nursing association, their roles, and how they generally shape healthcare policies and legislation. The nursing associations always create seminars and workshops that help ongoing learning nurse students to advance their skills and knowledge. The knowledge gained from these workshops will help me during my nursing practice to improve the outcome of the patients in the hospital. I gained knowledge of the importance of confidentiality and privacy by learning about formulating decisions based on legal and ethical underpinnings. During my nursing practice, I will be able to maintain patients’ privacy and assure them that their information is safe.
