Answer previewThis qualitative case study aimed to understand the perspectives and experiences of physical education teachers with online teaching. The study was informed by the constructivist theory of learning, which requires teachers to ensure the content and pedagogy engage the learners. Hence the PE course content and some aspect of PE lessons make it difficult to deliver online (Gillett-Swan, 2017). For instance, a PE teacher is responsible for ensuring each student’s specific needs are met since they learn differently, and the majority are not technologically advanced to navigate the online platform (Habaragoda, 2020).
