The government plays a crucial role in enhancing the health of its citizen. One of the roles includes providing quality care to the public through hiring competent healthcare providers and offering necessary supplies. Promote the equality in access to healthcare both in the urban and rural areas. The government must also prioritize healthcare resources for highly vulnerable resources. Another role played by the government is the regulation of healthcare policies and activities to eliminate gaps. The federal government also must introduce health facilities to advanced health technologies and support health research (Whitsel et al. 2019). The government should be entirely involved in public health directly and indirectly. Through implementing health programs, policies, creating new health legislation, and serving as advocates for health concerns.
