Furthermore, arranging various activities off-campus, such as open dances in community centers, creates an opportunity for those members who encounter challenges selecting a date. This is a problem in prom events where a significant percentage of schools do not permit LGBTQA activities. Generally, matters of inclusivity and fairness are necessary because they promote cohesion in society (Graham et al., 2011). Progressively, I project raising awareness in the community on the importance of understanding the cultural background of LGBTQA+ members to help reduce the stigmatization of this group.
