Answer preview
Additionally, staying physically and socially active will help seniors develop better cognitive function, boost their immunity, maintain balanced emotional health, enjoy restful sleep, and increase longevity. Social and physical activities include joining a group or club, becoming volunteers, joining senior fitness centers, and trying out new technology (Solovieva et al., 2017). The third intervention related to biological aspects of aging is to ensure older people always have a healthy balanced diet. As people age, their bodies change due to the changes that happen in their cells, organs, and the body as a whole. These changes affect their function and appearance and therefore require a lot of nutrition that can be gained from a balanced diet and other food supplements.
