Evaluating training is an essential part of strategic training mainly because it assists in determining whether the training strategies that have been put in place in the workplace are indeed effective or not (Keep, 2014). The focus of strategic training is to ensure that an organization has been able to achieve its goals and objectives. Hence, evaluating training is very vital since it will ensure that employees are provided with the right tools that will enable the organization to attain its goals and objectives. It is also essential that strategic training is evaluated since it enables training professionals and human resource management to get involved in the business and hence make substantial contributions to the results of the organization. It is also important so that the organizational problems that are not solved can be identified and this can only be done through examining the results of the training.
