Today, such an approach is not valid any longer since it is associated with an attitude of cultural superiority. In this context, the communities are yet to be civilized are perceived as being somehow inferior. To historians, there are various attributes which differentiate a civilization from other societies. Among the significant characteristics of civilization in a society include urban settlement, class structure, full-time specialization, and not relying on agriculture, surplus production, and state-level organization or government (Heard, 2019). To me, I use the term civilization to mean a standard behavior or etiquette. This is because someone with a civilized behavior cannot behave like the one with barbaric or crude behavior.
