Transformational leaders need to cultivate change leadership, which will help them change processes, systems, activities, and strategies to improve the work environment and ensure high patient satisfaction. As a transformational leader, I would enhance my change leadership competency by sharpening my communication skills. Communication during a change process is crucial, and it answers the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of the change process. Through proper communication, I would articulate the reasons behind the importance of offering quality patient care and guide staff into a higher level of excellence that aligns with the current regulations.
