Answer preview

I don’t ignore the fact that most of the time we get the conviction that as an individual we lack the capacity to influence the governing of the country. This usually is acquired from a deeper conviction that the state is run by rich people and corporations (Gutting, 2). By voting, you exercise a move to give individuals with the right agendas to work with these external pressures to establish policies which address the needs of the minority as well. Did you know that the minority lacks the actual influence due to poor representation? Failing to vote is actually voting. Don’t complain when you don’t participate because voting is not individual but communal. By voting, you set an example to encourage others to vote. Voting is the only instrument that a citizen has to impact change. An individual move can change the history of this country.  Individuals came out and voted for Barack Obama changing the history of a black person ruling America. This means that right-minded black Americans stands a better chance to rule than it was before. Voting is a privilege that one cannot afford to lose. Let’s get out and vote, let us make our nation great.
