Prejudice is an affective feeling towards a person or a group based on their perceived belief. For instance, people think mentally ill people are dangerous and immigrants steal jobs (Paluck, Porat, Clark, & Green, 2021). People are prejudiced because it is based on humans’ tendency to categorize others based on their past experiences. That means people will perceive others based on their past experiences with similar groups, with accurate predictions which are not always true. For instance, people associate Muslims with terrorism which is not the case. That is due to many videos which have gone viral on the internet of terrorists
