Cognitive and language development.

The topic is bolded below and it should be at least 1500 words

(The more you talk to a child in the first five years, the better cognitive and/or language development will be.)

Please structure the paper with three articles, books to describe, support or refute the hypothesis

Also, at the end of the paper you should include a short Appendix, which will answer three questions: 1. What were the databases, if any, that you used to find each article or book; 2. What was the search strategy you used (i.e., the search words you used) in each database to find the articles; and 3. Was each article that you cited an example of Primary or Secondary research?

I meant to type “three articles or books”

Depending on how infants interact with parents shapes their language acquisition, which is an essential element in cognition. In the article by Rosselli, Ardila, Matute, and Vélez-Uribe (2014), talking to infants is highly encouraged when they start babbling. Babbling back in the baby talk encourages the infant to continue communicating. This is contributed by the infants’ cognitive skills, whereby they selectively respond to voices they recognize. For instance, when uncomfortable, a mother’s soothing babbling talk calms the baby down. The constant gaze which the infants give a mother enhances the sociability. This makes them comfortable; hence, they express so by babbling. The meaningless sounds, as illustrated by Rosselli et al. (2014), end up forming human language. These sounds reveal how the infants react to auditory stimuli when the mother responds with similar baby sounds. Facts presented by Rosselli et al. demonstrate that infants aged ranging 22 to 140 days can detect changes in constant-vowel using the right
