Task 1: From your personal experiences working on a virtual team (could be a project team, in-class team or another team you worked on), please evaluate the issues outlined below. Note: If you never worked on a virtual team then, pls create a scenario where you are leading a team that has members in various countries and time zones – so, you need to conduct communications and progress via virtual/remote technology. Feel free to make up any issues (the more dysfunctional – the more fun the analysis).

There are several risks associated with my plan and possible response actions. One of the major risks is that the team could be unwilling to discuss their issues and opt to walk away from the project. To mitigate this, we will not postpone conflict resolution meetings until a solution is arrived upon and every member will get a request to participate beforehand. Also, there is a risk that the strategy could prove ineffective, and people continue to reinforce their subgroups. To avoid his, we will outline the changes we should make while implementing the solutions and develop ways to remain accountable to each other.
