For this assignment, you will examine the underlying cultural values expressed in children’s literature. Choose one short story or picture book. You can obtain a book from a local library, your own personal collection, or you can view complete children’s books online (for free!) using the We Give Books website or another website like this.
You will use Hofstede’s Value’s Dimensions: Individualism/ Collectivism, High/ Low Uncertainty Avoidance, High/ Low Power Distance, Masculinity/Femininity, Long/Short term orientation

They are mostly associated with lots of pictures and easy vocabulary for the children to understand depending on the age the particular book targets.
