Training and learning are of different importance to organizations. There are several reasons why developing the whole person is useful for the organization. Learning focuses on the person and not the organization (Healthie, n.d). Developing the person allows them to reach the full potential of their skills and ability, which positively impacts their work performance. They become more productive, knowledgeable, and satisfied employees. In addition, improving the person helps them identify hidden values, skills, and abilities, leading to organizational development. Employees become more aware of their values and ethics through personal development.
