There have been allegations in recent years connecting autism to vaccinations. The link between ASD and vaccines has been proven due to certain previously published research articles that either used biased individuals or assessments. Mumps, measles, and rubella immunizations in particular have been associated with the rise in ASD cases (Davidson, 2017). More trustworthy and competent research publications, which many other specialists have confirmed, have refuted these assertions. Researchers from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (2021) looked at the impact of various vaccination antigens during the first two years of life in a study they carried out in 2013. According to this study, immunizations do not endanger a child’s life. Another suggestion was that thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative used in the majority of vaccines to extend their shelf lives by inhibiting the growth of germs and fungi, could lead to ASD. However, investigations have found no link between thimerosal and ASD.
