The employees working in the company call centers can override the travelers’ fare while making their flight booking services. This has been attributed to the small number of clients, but since the company is growing, the senior management will be forced to stripe the junior employees these duties and delegate them to junior management. The management seems to have given more powers to its worker than deemed necessary in acting in the best interest of the company. If an employee acts in his or her best interest, the company might suffer a financial loss since employees might charge high rates for their own gains (Mark, Crossan, Allaire, & Moore, 2002). The culture has played a major role in making the company stand out from its competitors, but this has also led to some of its problems. In the case of employees overriding travelers’ fares, this has caused irregularities in fare pricing and a lot of confusion about which minor to charge or not, leading to their customers losing trust in them.
