- How do the DREAMers reproduce or resist narratives of “deserving” and “undeserving” immigrants?

This is an effective strategy, their protests and pressures have offered many of them reprieves from deportation. They have evoked the written American Dream to include economic prosperity and citizenship affordance. Direct means of political participation like running for office and voting are unavailable for the Dreamers and many of them are now speaking out to get support for a Clean Dream Act. The Trump white house is now willing to offer a citizenship pathway for the Dreamers in exchange for some trade-offs which they do not accept them. President Trump had earlier on canceled DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) but the DACA’s recipient opposed the proposal of White House saying that the proposal will disrupt the lives of many people (www.youtube.com).(247words)
