These causes include combined changes of air temperature, precipitation, frequency, and magnitude of extreme weather events from my examination. These, in turn, affect animals directly or indirectly, manifesting as metabolic disruptions, oxidative stress, and immune suppression causing infections and death. The reading breaks down each direct and indirect cause and its effects and will help me understand the biological and ecological aspects of the effects of climate change on animals. In addition, the in-depth analysis of each cause and its effect will provide the much-needed specificity in establishing the relationship between climate change and animal productivity or survival.
