Answer preview

A contract also is formed when one individual makes an offer to another, and the individual accepts the offer to contract to enter into a genuine agreement (Dawkins, 2014). The focus of this agreement is to define the way in which the two parties would conduct business activity. The parties accept the two contracts when they are willing to commit themselves to the specified term of the agreement. The commitment comes as a result of lack of a response of the individuals to each other as it is to the contract. The biblical covenants, on the other hand, focused on creating clear and binding relationships between God and humans or between human beings.  God made a covenant with Noah that he will never destroy people again with water. God intended to establish a clear and binding commitment with a man (Scott & Scott, 2015). Dominant nations like Assyria and Babylon would enter into a covenant with Israelites requiring them to obey the administration and pay taxes allowing them to live under their government. In this case, the two nations would focus on building a relationship based on the need of the one for another.
