Resistance to change can negatively affect the growth of an organization (Lu & Liu, 2017). There are solutions to this resistance to change that Doreen can apply. The first approach would be to engage the employees in the decision making the process by giving them a chance to make their input so they can feel more involved and more ready to accept (Umble & Umble, 2014). Doreen can also break down the change process into sectors and implement them in stages. Communicating the model clearly and comprehensively would also do well in convincing them making sure to highlight the effectiveness through illustrations.
