Cases of risk mitigation
In order to understand the process of how an organization responds to a risk situation, you will need to find two public cases of risk mitigation. In examining the two public cases, you will pay special attention to the legal, ethical, safety, environmental, cultural, political, and financial factors addressed by both.
Covid-19 outbreak
Write two seperate journal entry about your experience with the organization you have chosen to study. 2-3 (800-1200 words each) single spaced each, 12 point font. These entries are up to you in terms of content — they can be good, bad or neutral experiences as long as they reflect upon the organization of your focus. Please feel free expansive in your interpretation of these guidelines.
Organizational problems
Your friend is starting a new position within your place of employment and has a couple of questions. She wants to know what to expect and how your organization uses teamwork to build positive relationships. In this assignment, you will give your friend some ideas of what to expect by outlining the following aspects of your workplace:
Explain the role of the human resource department and how they can help you.
Define the role of a mentor.
Describe the ways in which you can work together with a mentor to overcome challenges in the new position.
Provide a description of a mentor from your life and how you used teamwork to solve problems.
Organization’s leadership
This assignment will provide you the opportunity to articulate how the work this term has shaped the leadership conscience that you can apply to your organizational work setting, whether that setting is an educational, non-profit or other type of organization.
The paper should reference and identify a metaphor that could be used to describe the organization. It should also include reflection and a detailed action plan to be presented to the organization’s leadership for purpose of improving organization’s systems (you do not actually have to implement the plan).
The assignment includes a detailed narrative and a power point presentation. You must have a minimum of 5-7 articles outside the course texts in your reference list and the material from these articles must be integrated into the analysis.
