Answer preview

If the children are from minority groups as well, they are likely to have difficulty accessing resources. Children with disabilities already have a hard time in recreational activities, schooling and securing employment in their future; coming from a minority group is likely to intensify the lack of access to resources (Kauffman, Hallahan & Pullen, 2017). They will also have a difficult time capturing the attention of the public in meeting their needs. Both groups are often subject to social isolation and ignorance from other society members. The stigma, isolation, and discrimination will be more for children who are in both groups. They may find it hard to meet their competing needs and see a sense of purpose and identity in their societies.
