Each of you is to develop a communications brief for the senior executive you have chosen providing them with guidelines as to how to respond to this crisis, along with specific instructions of what to do and not do. The communication’s brief should be specific to the individual’s function. While you can include some general recommendations that would apply to all of the senior leadership, this particular brief is to anticipate and address the possible challenges this particular executive might face in this crisis. Include instructions for both internal and external communications. Please assume that this executive is not to be made aware of the communications’ team scenario planning (above), but that he/she would have to be in a position to respond to either scenario should they come about.
