Cosmological Argument of Gods Existence

Clearly state and thoroughly defend one particular version of either the cosmological or ontological argument for God’s existence. Make the argument appear as plausible as possible. Then, develop some strong objections to the argument. Next, on behalf of the theistic proponent of the argument, offer at least one reply to each of the objections. Finally, you be the judge. At the end of the day, do you agree or disagree with the argument? Explain. In your explanation, make sure to engage the objections or replies that were most influential on your thinking. The body of the Paper should be five to six pages long (not counting the works cited page). Use 12-point Times New Roman font with double spacing and 1” margins on all sides. Texts assigned for class may also serve as sources. You will likely need to skim several sources to find four relevant to your Paper. Make meticulous notes and citations so you do not accidentally commit plagiarism. Turn in your Paper on Blackboard only. According to Heil (pg 174), the absence of the universe itself cannot be defined by both the content and the void space. Even if the content of the universe would be removed the void space would still exist and such a space would be defined to have a cause. This cause of the void space in the universe defines the need to understand that the universe and all its parameters do not individually exist because they are controlled by systems within the universe. The Big Bang theory which suggests that the universe came into existence out of nothing is a misconception because what exists out of nothing would potentially be controlled by nothing and is likely to disappear out of nothing. God exists because he represents a cause if the universe existence and a continuous control of its operations which otherwise the universe would have been destroyed centuries after its formations.
