The second concept uncovered by the film is conflict theory (Griffiths et al., 2015). From in conflict perspective, society is viewed as being comprised of different groups with different interests and competing for resources and power. It explains various aspects in the social world, for instance, which groups in society benefit from given resources. The origin of the conflict in society is traced back to the classical perspective proposed by Karl Marx.  He suggested that society is in perpetual conflict. He suggested that the society undergoes various phases of economic growth, and at this time, the society transitions from an agricultural to a capitalist society.  Eventually, society is divided into two classes: the owners of factors of production and the working class.  The affluent class has a higher capability of accessing higher quality medical services.  On the other hand, people from the lower class have limited access to health services
