Creating a healthier work environment is important in the healthcare industry. While delivering care services, it is important to protect the health and wellbeing of the healthcare professionals and the administrative staff. A healthy work environment is good to work for and includes great benefits, supports innovations and collaboration, and eliminates abuse of position by the upper management. A healthy work environment can be described as a workplace where the employees’ needs are recognized, feel fulfilled, and sustain good physical and mental health. ‘‘It is safe, empowering and satisfying’’ (Wei et al., 2018). Stress in the workplace is a major factor influencing job dissatisfaction and turnover (Havaei, Astivia, & MacPhee, 2020). The major dimensions of a healthy work environment explored in this paper include work-life balance, employee involvement, and employee health and safety linked to workplace stress
