Autonomous strategic behavior involves all activities relevant to understanding the main objectives of a region, not triggered nor motivated by the strategic concept. For example, Kresge, the variety store chain that was transformed into the largest discount store in the United States and renamed it Kmart, which made double sales but was still a terrible challenge. The autonomous strategy seems to hold the most promise for commercial success because when you see things are not moving as planned, you can always stop the process.
