The composition of the team is quite good, considering the equality, diversity, and inclusiveness were critical selection criteria. St John’s Hospital has a very diverse workforce, with employees coming from different racial and ethnic backgrounds (Inegbedion et al., 2020). As such, it was imperative that such a feature get adhered to during selection. Therefore, the current composition of the team stands at three white Caucasians; one nurse, one doctor and the hospital’s administrator, three African Americans, two nurses and one doctor, one doctor of Asian origin, and two Hispanics representing members of the hospital’s support staff. The team is also gender-sensitive, with members coming from both genders. I oversee a team made up of four women and six men (Inegbedion et al., 2020). All things considered, I can confidently state that my team’s size and composition is where it needs to be.
