According to U.S. Census Bureau, there are about 46.3 million older adults in the United States, accounting for about 16.9 percent of the total U.S. population (U.S. Bureau, 2021). Indeed, the population of elderly people in the country is expected to grow in the future, where it is projected that the elderly population will reach 23.5 percent (98 million) by2060 (U.S. Bureau, 2021). Although elderly people live longer, they experience one or more chronic conditions, which reduces their quality of life.  The statics show that about 60 percent of this population
