Answer preview

To ensure that a culture of safety is embraced in the organization, the following values must be adopted. First, both leaders and workers must acknowledge that the organization has potential safety risks and be determined to maintain a high level of safety in all operations. That is, every person in the organization must ensure safety all the time because safety risks can be unpredictable. Secondly, the organization must create an environment that is blame-free. Such an environment focuses on solving errors rather than punishing employees who cause those errors. As a result, employees are encouraged to report errors in time. Third, an organization must be committed to the provision of resources required to solve safety problems (Psnet.ahrq.gov, 2019). This is because a lack of enough resources can lead to poor quality of healthcare services, thus increasing the risk of safety hazards.
