Importance of Risk Assessment in Decision Making

Nerds Galore’s management decided to formulate a new HR strategy that would address human resources-based risks. They also formulated an Executive Team and tasked it with evaluating the viability of a human resource management plan drafted by the company’s vice president (Quail, 2015). Before implementing a new HR strategy, Nerds Galore needs to have all facts regarding the risks afflicting them. Understanding the source and dynamics of the various dangers plaguing an organization helps overcome them. Through risk assessment, organizations can correctly pinpoint the risks that are affecting the performance of their employees. Such an understanding of the risks makes it easier for a company to take measures centered on overcoming these risks.
