The Humanistic Nursing Theory recognizes the importance of self-care and self-actualization for both patients and nurses. It encourages individuals to actively participate in their health and well-being. Through this theory, my Capstone project will explore interventions that empower patients to engage in self-care practices and empower me to prioritize self-care, leading to improved overall outcomes (Harrington, 2023). Also, this theory underscores ethical principles and values in nursing practice.
