Your paper must include the following:

  • A summary of each disorder (e.g. Bipolar Disorder and Alcohol Abuse Disorder)
  • A visual such as a table or chart that compares and contrasts the symptoms and behaviors associated with each disorder
  • A list of the provider roles that could work with this client in a collaborative team approach with descriptions of how they each may function within the team
  • An explanation for how to implement preventative programs for substance use disorders such as selected in this paper within an integrated health setting. Include the previously listed roles within the explanation.

Requirements: 1250 Words   |   .doc file

I do not need an intro or conclusion for this. Each bullet point needs answered and there must be a visual chart as well as stated in the second bullet point.

Borderline personality disorder can be treated using a collaborative team approach that involves psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists with specialized training (Stringer et al., 2011). When treating a person with this disorder, care gets provided by a collaborative care team consisting of the patient, their informal caregiver, nurse, and a psychologist or psychiatrist. Under this framework, patients will be expected to indicate their expectations pertaining to the treatment they are undergoing, while informal caregivers will be expected to support the patient in their treatment ventures to ensure they adhere to the directives given, and as such, do not quit the treatment plan (Stringer et al., 2011). Nurses, on the other hand, are expected to form a therapeutic relationship with the patient, which will allow them to learn more about the patient and how the disorder affects them. Such information will be valuable to a psychiatrist, who leads the team responsible for the patient’s treatment.
