Week 3 Topic:

Communication is a necessity in order for people to make their most basic needs and desires known to others. For those with moderate to severe speech impediments this is a huge issue that can affect all areas of their life.

In your discussion share what activity you chose and the outcome you found when you were unable to verbally communicate:

  • What was the outcome?
  • How did this experience make you feel?
  • What were the effects on the listener?
  • What have you learned from this week’s readings that would support your observations and experiences during this activity?
  • 2. Your initial post (your response to the topic) must contain a citation. It is your ideas supported by research.
