Quasi-experimental variables and designs have many features. One is experimental research and design tests causal hypotheses, the experiment is viewed as an intervention where a treatment is tested on how well it can achieve its objectives (Campbell & Stanley, 2015). Another feature is that Quasi-experimental designs do not have a random assignment, that is, assignment to certain conditions is by way of self-selection or administrator selection.
