Leaders have a significant role in making a difference in people’s lives. I believe that many leaders manage to make this happen by identifying areas that need change. They also need to understand themselves and the people around them so that they can establish effective ways of promoting the change they want. As seen in, McFarland USA, a movie by Niki (2015), Coach White’s persistence and ability to see the strengths in his small team promoted change in the community.
When I look at the character, personality, and skills of Coach White, this contributed to his effectiveness as a community leader.
