PDSA is a quality model that comprises of four iterative stages. The first stage of this model is the plan.   This stage entails writing a concise statement of what plan the team will implement to test the surgery’s quality. Significant challenges and barriers are identified. The team will also determine how and which data it will review in this stage. a second stage is an act. In this stage, the team will improve the process and the outcomes. The team will carry out the tests and determine whether the surgery conducted attains the required quality level. Also, it needs to document problems and unexpected observations realized during surgical procedures (Coury, Schneider, Rivelli, Petrik, Seibel, D’Agostini, B., … & Coronado, 2017). At this stage, the team requires to begin the analysis of the data collected. The third step is to study.
