I think that the use of the Trojan Horse was heroic since that was the only way that Odysseus and his men would have managed to enter the city of Troy without being recognized. Odysseus believed that using his wits would have helped him to win the Trojan War. Eventually, since the Trojans thought that the Greeks had left, yet they had hidden inside the Trojan Horse, they were terribly defeated in the Trojan War.
