Answer preview

The primary issue that arose upon Covid-19’s outbreak was determining whether continuing the league was a tenable proposal. The NBA is a humongous organization. Its activities occur with the participation of numerous individuals ranging from players to officials discharging different functions and other parties who collaborate with it to achieve specific business or societal objectives. Therefore, the primary concern was assessing the safety of continuing the league amidst a ravaging pandemic. Ascertaining the safety of players, match officials, and other involved parties became a matter of grave concern, especially after a player tested positive for coronavirus.
