Answer preview

The leadership of an organization plays a vital role in developing the organizational culture, values, and ethics. Leadership is a key factor in the strengthening or weakening of the supply chain integrity. The proper regulation of the supply chain is essential as it helps to reduce the likelihood of unsafe and ineffective drugs reaching and harming consumers (Wieland, 2021). It also raises consumer awareness of drug security threats and vulnerabilities in the supply chain. Leaders such as pharmacy managers are responsible for understanding all the vendors, and every other partner downstream who contributes to the manufacture, distribution, and sale of products before they reach their pharmacy. The development of constructive leadership qualities impacts this understanding positively and consequently has a positive impact on the efforts to maintain integrity in the supply chain.
