Models such as the Campinha-Bacote model, Giger and Davidhizar model, Papadopoulos, Tilki, and Taylor model, Leininger’s Cultural Care Diversity and Universality theory and model, and the Purnell model identify the importance of understanding the patient’s culture into the nursing process.
