Social class is a status hierarchy categorized by esteem or prestige acquired from economic success and accumulation of wealth. The four common social classes are upper, middle, working, and lower class. Consider the effects of social class, family structure, cultural background, group identification, and other social factors on your consumer behavior.
Document your demographic and psychographic profile. Use the http://www.city-data.com to explore how your profile matches up with your social class. Click on the Zip Code Finder and enter your zip code. Examine the population segments and analyze your fit. Name the segment that fits your profile and social class. Note that there are 3 categories on the left-hand side, and you can browse through all 3 in trying to find the most appropriate profile.
Fill out your demographic and psychographic profile and your social class. Please find attached to this message an example profile.
