Answer preview

Team mediation techniques are essential for conflict management. One of such techniques is negotiation, whereby parties resolve disputes by agreement or compromise. The process seeks fairness and mutual benefit for the parties involved. The technique diffuses conflict by bringing together the conflicting parties (team members, employers, and leader) to an actual communication and mutual negotiation to reach an agreement (Magzan & Babić 2019). The parties should identify the problem, learn about it, and suggest ways of settling. Where the actual disputing members cannot meet, mediators intervene as neutral third parties.
