Euthanasia

Euthanasia, which is also known as mercy killing, refers to the act of ending one’s life to relieve long-lasting suffering facilitated by a physician. The physician has to have the approval of the patient or their closest family members to allow the patient to die. Euthanasia is often the last resort for patients and is mostly used when the patient has suffered for a period, and there is no medical intervention that can help them to get better. From the therapeutic perspective, the patients have two options. One is to continue living with the pain or to choose mercy killing as there are no other humanly possible actions to help them…
