First and fur most, the name Bluebeard is symbolic which means a person who murders one a wife after the other. Despite the power and riches that Bluebeard displayed, he had a questionable personality, but he threw lavish parties to disguise his real self. Therefore, in life, there will be always people with a nice outward character to win people’s trust and friendship. So, people should not judge others based on their outward appearance since Bluebeard who appeared to be a good man turned out to be evil. Another moral lesson is that verbal words can be a powerful tool and the women who may have a low or less powerful position should use words to save their lives. Still, it is sometimes good to act with bravery since it is through the wife’s curiosity that she got the courage to open the door where she found the truth about her husband.
