Outline

Looking ahead to your final research paper, develop an outline highlighting the major points of your research paper; this outline can be used in the construction of the body of your final paper. As with all well-‐researched and organized writing, you must begin your outline with an introduction and end your outline with a conclusion. In your outline, you must:

  1. Provide the reader with a clear direction of your paper in your introduction by presenting the major topics in the order that you will discuss them within the body of your
  2. Include a topic sentence (thesis statement) that contains the major ideas of your paper in your
  3. Include at least five major ideas that address the needs of the correctional system that you plan to use in your final research paper, with brief (one to two sentences) explanations for each.

The focus of the Corrections final research paper is to critically analyze a specific issue present in the current correctional setting, including
1. Detailed history of specific correctional issue
2. Impact on society/offenders/victims
3. Problems or consequences
4. Positive elements
5. Alternative approach
6. Intervention and/or policy changes

This a required assignment, but you will receive a complete/incomplete grade. That being said, I would be inclined to give extra credit for above average outlines that demonstrate effort and a strong focus on a plan for your final paper.

The description I gave you is exactly what my professor is looking for so Im going to need you to follow this. If I like what you did can I always ask to have you for my other papers?

Also where do you send the paper when it needs to be done.

I am also going to need you to the your references and make a work cited page

well this is only the outline if you do great on this i will request to have you for my final paper.
