Considered by many to be the brainchild of Ronald J. Packard, the K-12 education system was first introduced in the United States in the early 19th century. Today, it has become the most popular form of education, and it is widely used in various parts of the world, including North America, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It is also slowly introduced in some parts of Europe. The K-12 education system contains 13 grades from kindergarten to the 12th grade (Chatterji, 2018).
