Write a fully developed and detailed APA essay addressing each of the following points/questions. There is no required word count; be sure to completely answer all the questions for each question in detail. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least one (1) source using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page are required. Conduct a literature search to select a qualitative research study on the topic identified in module 1. child obesity. Conduct an initial critical appraisal of the study.

Respond to the overview questions for the critical appraisal of qualitative studies, including:

  • Is the sampling clear and guided by study needs?
  • Does the researcher control selection of the sample?
  • Do sample size and composition reflect the study needs?
  • Is the phenomenon (human experience) clearly identified?
  • Are data collection procedures clear?
  • Are sources and means of verifying data explicit?
  • Are researcher roles and activities explained?
  • Are data analysis procedures described?
  • Does analysis guide directions of sampling when it ends?
  • Are data management processes described?
  • What are the reported results (descriptive or interpretation)?
  • How are specific findings presented?
  • Are the data meanings derived from data described in context?
  • Does the writing effectively promote understanding?
  • Will the results help me care for my patients?
  • Are the results relevant to persons in similar situations?
  • Are the results relevant to patient values and/or circumstances?
  • How may the results be applied to clinical practice?

Instructions
Flashbulb memories are memories about a specific event that are so vivid it creates a “snapshot” of the event. Examples of well-known flashbulb memory events include the 9/11 attacks, Challenger disaster, and the MLK or JFK assassinations.

Research the phenomenon of flashbulb memories. Discuss the major theorists, main characteristics of flashbulb memories and the major criticisms of these types of memories. Now, identify a personal example of a flashbulb memory and describe in detail what you were doing when you heard the news of this event (what was the time? who were you with? what was the first thing you thought of when you heard the news?).

Thinking back to when your flashbulb memory event occurred. How confident are you about the accuracy of your responses about this event? Is the experience of your flashbulb memory event consistent with the characteristics and/or criticisms of flashbulb memories?

This assignment will provide you the opportunity to articulate how the work this term has shaped the leadership conscience that you can apply to your organizational work setting, whether that setting is an educational, non-profit or other type of organization.

The paper should reference and identify a metaphor that could be used to describe the organization. It should also include reflection and a detailed action plan to be presented to the organization’s leadership for purpose of improving organization’s systems (you do not actually have to implement the plan).

The assignment includes a detailed narrative and a power point presentation. You must have a minimum of 5-7 articles outside the course texts in your reference list and the material from these articles must be integrated into the analysis.

Your paper must include the following elements:

  • Personal reflection on the learning in this course
  • Construction of an action plan to put into place new concepts learned in the course that will assist systemic learning in the organization
  • Forecast of the impact of the plan on the organization
  • Conclusion

Paper Requirements:

  • Length of paper 5-7 pages not including the title or reference page.
  • Use 5-7 scholarly references to support your research and arguments. Must be published within the last 5-7 years.
  • PowerPoint is worth 5 points, no minimum slides applied
